My 2019 Range Rover Sport has started doing this really annoying thing where the driver side vents blow warm air while the passenger side is perfectly cold, even when both zones are set to the same temperature. If I turn the temperature all the way down to the lowest setting the driver side eventually gets cool, but anything above that and it's noticeably warmer than the passenger side. From what I've researched this is often a failing blend door actuator on the driver side or possibly low refrigerant that affects one side more than the other due to the way the evaporator is designed. Either way it's not something I can fix in my parking garage. Need a Range Rover rigorous repair service that knows these climate control systems and can properly diagnose whether it's an actuator issue or a refrigerant problem before taking the dashboard apart. Dynostar seems to have the right diagnostic tools for Range Rovers and I've seen them recommended in a few owner groups. Anyone else with an L494 Range Rover Sport had the dual zone climate control go out of whack like this, what was the actual fault and how involved was the repair, did the entire dashboard need to come out or was it accessible through the footwell? I'm really hoping it's just low on refrigerant and not a blend door buried deep in the dash, I've seen videos of that repair and it's basically interior disassembly which means hours of labor. Also wondering if the AC system in these cars needs any special refrigerant or if any shop with AC equipment can handle it.
