Thought I'd share this in case it helps someone avoid the customs headache I went through last year. Originally ordered a set of vehicle floor panels from a European supplier because the price looked amazing on paper, what I didn't factor in was the shipping costs that nearly doubled the quote and then three weeks of delays at Jebel Ali port because the paperwork wasn't quite right. When one of the panels showed up with a crack in the corner I just about lost it. Fast forward to earlier this year when I needed to outfit a second van for a new driver, my business partner convinced me to just find a Quality Vehicle Pallets supplier in UAE instead of going through the import circus again. Went with Crateco this time and the whole process from quote to delivery took four days, plus when I had a question about installation they actually picked up the phone and talked me through it which is rare these days. The plywood ones we got are holding up perfectly after six months of daily use hauling catering equipment, no delamination or weird odors despite the occasional spill. Not saying imports are always bad but sometimes the local option just makes life easier especially when you factor in the time saved and being able to actually see what you're buying beforehand.
